everything was nice, magnificent location next to a very nice restaurant across the road, the sassi and sassi di matera, very good experience.

The hotel was a comfortable base for enjoying a local area, near "Sassi di Matera" and a charming restaurant a short walk away, that's located in a cave dwelling and the center of historic city. The location was perfect, a 10-15 minute walk from an art museum. The restaurant was located within 400 feet.

Close to Nearby Attractions 📍 It was just a quick walk to Casa Noha, which was great being in the heart of the old town.

There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, allowing guests to enjoy delicious meals without having to travel far. the rooms are spacious and well-designed, offering a comfortable stay. the bathrooms are also spacious and provide all the necessary amenities.

The breakfast included in the stay is basic and served in a different location, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

If there's one thing we'd ask for, it's more vibrant nightlife options for young party-goers. Matera is great for history and culture, but we wished there were more options for evening entertainment that catered to our energetic group.

I had the most amazing experience staying at Piano Piano - Rooms in Matera. Giuseppe and Tiziana, the hosts, were not only great hosts, but also warm and kind people. From the prompt and friendly communication to the small personal exchanges, they made me feel like a very special guest. Apart from their exceptional hospitality, the place itself was extremely lovely. the accommodation had so much history and was immaculately clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you want a memorable and enjoyable stay in the Sassi.
